Welcome to Art by Aelia's FAQ! Here you can find all the information you need to place an order with me. I offer a secure and easy ordering process to make your shopping experience enjoyable. My shipping is fast and reliable, ensuring your handmade item reaches you in perfect condition. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Production Information:
Are your products handmade?
Yes, my items are handmade, by me. I use a variety of materials and techniques, which are listed in each individual item.
What currency do you use?
My default currency is Canadian Dollars (CAD), but you can convert the currency to USD, GBP, or EURO by using the converter at the top right corner of my website.
Returns and Exchanges:
What is your return policy?
I do not accept returns on any custom items.
Returns on non-custom items can be made within 7 business days of receipt. The item must be returned in original condition, and be packaged securely enough to arrive in the condition in which it was received. Original shipping costs are NOT refundable unless there was an error on my part. The buyer is responsible for return shipping on unwanted items, unless there was an error on my part.
Do you accept cancellations?
I accept cancellations within 24 hours of ordering, provided that the item has not yet shipped. Once an item has shipped, I do not accept cancellations.

SHIPPING FAQs
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping varies by item and destination. Most US shipping costs around $10 Canadian. Canadian shipping is too variable to generalize here. To find out your shipping costs, please add items to your cart and visit the checkout page.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping to the US generally takes 3-5 business days.
Shipping to Canada generally takes 1-2 weeks.
When you choose your shipping option at checkout, it should give you a time estimate.
Where do you ship from?
I am located in Canada, but ship most items from Niagara Falls, NY.
What shipping company do you use?
Some countries will have multiple options available to you at checkout. The shipping options you see will have the service/provider listed.
Most items bound for the US will ship with USPS.
Most items bound for Canada will ship with Canada Post.
Do you ship to the UK?
Due to changes in VAT collection, I cannot ship to the UK at this time. You can still order from my Etsy shop, from which I can ship to the UK. https://artbyaelia.etsy.com
Do you ship to the EU?
No. Unfortunately the changes to GPSR have rendered me unable to ship to the EU at this time. I hope to resume EU shipping, but will have to bring my shop into compliance with GPSR first.
Do you ship to another specific country?
If you attempt checkout, and shipping is unavailable, please email me at info@artbyaelia.com with your shipping address, and I will get back to you with a quote. If you are in the UK, or EU, there is no need to email me, as I cannot ship to you at this time.
When do you ship?
I ship once a week to keep shipping costs down. I typically ship on Tuesdays (unless there is a major weather event or a holiday which alters the shipping schedule).
IN-STOCK items ship within 1 week (5 business days), except in the event of severe weather.
PRE-ORDER items generally ship within 2-4 Weeks.
PRE-ORDERS for Dragon Replicas ship within 2-8 Weeks.
